of:
Abe Mathews, co-owner of IRUN, was co-founder and President of Computec,
a company providing technology consulting, systems integration and development
of niche software solutions for targeted segments of American Industry. Over
its ten year history Computec’s clients have included some of the biggest names
in the corporate world including Ford Motor, Jaguar Cars, Federal Express, Quaker Oats,
Sprint and Giant Eagle Supermarkets. Abe led the effort to develop value
added relationships with other service providers that enabled Computec to deliver
superior solutions in the supply chain arena.
Prior to founding Computec in 1994, Abe held various positions in Fortune 100 firms
for 15 years. These positions included Director-IT Support Services for Firestone
Tire and Rubber, Senior Systems Consultant for Beatrice Foods Company and Strategic
Planning Analyst for CNA Finance. He was active in several professional organizations
where he served on a number of committees including The Institute of Management Science,
Society of Information Management and Center for Information Systems Research.
Abe has a MBA from the University of Minnesota, a MS in Engineering from the University
of Calgary, Canada and a B. Tech in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology,
Kanpur.
Gopal Saxena, co-owner of IRUN, took over as
Chief Executive Officer in November 2005.
He is the founder-President of Microsys Technologies Inc.,
a technology consulting company. He has more than 2 decades of
association with the technology industry and his professional
experience includes senior managment tenures with Multinational
companies and the Public Sector. Gopal has successfully set up and
managed two companies in the IT and Telecommunications sector, including
a software startup. He also spearheaded the financial turnaround of a major
electronics white label manufacturer.
Gopal is a goal driven manager and brings a fresh dynamism Irun,
where he has started product development and strategic initiatives that
would catapult Irun to a front runner position in its area.
He has a bachelor's degree in Engineering from I.I.T Delhi and a post
graduate (MBA) in Business Administration from IMD Lausanne Switzerland.
Fabio Vettorello co-founded IRUN in 2002. Early
on Fabio made an observation that has helped guide
IRUN clearly: “There are
many ‘website builders’ on the web
today, but they are still in relative infancy,
offering customers poor design quality and limited
functionality. So how can small businesses compete
on the web against their larger counterparts if
they don’t have the right tools? That’s
where IRUN comes in.”
For almost a decade, Fabio has worked in the
Internet and web development industry, gaining
an understanding of the balance between great
design and high levels of functionality. At IRUN,
Fabio is responsible for overseeing production
and quality control of the designs. More than
anything, it is his desire to produce a great
end-product for our customers that drives him.
“We constantly have customers and prospects
in a state of shock,” says Fabio. “They
simply can’t believe that we are not only
offering them terrific design for a low monthly
cost, but we also combine it with revolutionary
web management and E-commerce tools.”
With his vast web experience Fabio has developed
a keen sense of what it takes for businesses to
succeed on the web. He firmly believes that if
a web site is to be effective then an integrated
approach that allows for attractive design and
a high level of functionality is required.
Prior to co-founding IRUN, Fabio was Creative
Director and Partner for a successful Interactive
Agency that worked primarily on projects for medium
and large sized businesses.
As an award-winning senior web designer and usability
expert, Paul Sveda partners with Fabio Vettorello
to maintain the absolute highest level of quality
for our customers. With over 7 years in web development
and design experience, Paul is an authority on
many software applications, and has actually taught
Macromedia Flash, Adobe Premier, Photoshop and
3-D Studio Max at various post-secondary institutions.
At IRUN, Paul is known for constantly pushing
the limit of what’s possible on the web,
combining the most modern designs and usability/navigation
rules for great results. Paul’s grasp of
branding and his ability to convert customer needs
into visuals really helps IRUN differentiate itself.
“By building a customer-focused system
that offers industry-specific design, we have
been able to successfully meet needs,” says
Paul. “We’re not trying to fit a real
estate agent into a website designed for a bakery.
Instead, we try to cover as many industries as
possible so that customers can feel comfortable
selecting a design that matches their unique needs.
Even if a particular industry is not available
right now, we can custom build a website to run
on our system in a matter of days.”
Prior to joining IRUN, Paul was a senior web
designer at a few different web and application
development firms. Paul has also been a much sought-after
consultant for post-secondary institutions and
web development firms who have contracted him
to teach their employees, professors and students
about website usability and various web design/development
tools.
